At this stage, large tech companies will lean into the Metaverse-vision from the platform side, in terms of the infrastructure, access, etc.

Startups will try to bring in accountability, speed & access to various tech (VR/AR/Currency/etc) in the Metaverse.

From the user side, like you said, it's coins and maybe adoption of tech.

Govts are yet to get involved, I guess.
